Rich black cherry, leather, tobacco leaf, vanilla, cola, roasted peppers, black tea, and allspice. A full palate with big tannins and hints of blackberries, plum, cedar, and nutmeg. Cellar for up to 15 years. Decant for 24 hours before enjoying. Serve with a filet mignon over Portobello mushrooms and balsamic glaze, hard cheese like aged cheddar, or dark chocolate.
Layers of black cherry, leather, fig, tobacco, volcanic rocks, cinnamon, cardamom, curry and dried herbs with hints of espresso, brown sugar and black pepper. Big tannins with a savory and spicy finish. Lay this wine down for at least 3-5 years. We recommend decanting for 24 hours before enjoying. Serve with paella, burgers, rib-eye and roasted veggies, baked pasta dishes with red sauce or cheese like manchego.
